AliMo Care is a family business, established in 2010 by Ali who having experienced a poor quality of end of life care for her Mum 'Mo', wanted to do something that would have a positive impact towards improving care for others, and that would also allow people to make choices about how to remain living independently in their own homes.
AliMo Care specialises in providing home, and end of life care service to individuals living across Bristol & South Gloucestershire. We are proud to be recognised as one of the leading home care services in the area, with a reputation for providing a caring, responsible and reliable service.
We know that making the decision to let someone into your home to provide you with care and support, can be a daunting and worrying experience for many people. This is why we will always provide you with a level of service, that we would want for our own Mum's and other loved ones, from care staff who are compassionate, caring, reliable and well trained. To make sure that we are able to offer you a flexible, and responsive service. Our office staff are also highly experienced, well trained and are committed to providing you with the best possible service. Ensuring that they deal with any concerns, requests or enquiries that you may have, as efficiently and as quickly as possible.
Our services range from help with cleaning, other domestic tasks, shopping, and meal preparation, getting out and about and being part of the local community; to all aspects of personal care, complex care, and end of life care. We are also here to support your family members, and carers as we understand the practical and often emotional difficulties that they can face when caring for a loved one at home. By listening to what is important to you, and understanding your specific care needs and wishes, we are able to develop a care plan that is fully adaptable, that fits around your life and that is flexible to meet your wishes at all times. Our care plans are designed to make sure that you remain in control, in a way will allow you to continue living independently in your own home, for as long as possible.
Our clients come to us mainly by word of mouth referrals, and through our partnership with Bristol and South Gloucestershire Adult Care Services, and the NHS.
AliMo Care is registered and complies with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) who regulate, inspect and review all adult social care services in the public, private and voluntary sectors.

Whether you are looking for daily or weekly assistance due to ageing, illness, recovery, or rehabilitation. Our team of professional care workers, provide an individualised service that you can trust, and a service that meets your needs.
The AliMo Care team receive regular, comprehensive training, enabling them to meet a wide range of needs from supporting you with day to day tasks around the home, providing companionship, helping you to get out of bed, and ready for the day; to providing specialised care for complex health conditions or providing holistic palliative care.
Our professional care team consists of a care manager, field supervisor, team leaders, senior carers, and care workers. All of which are extremely passionate about delivering the best possible standards of compassionate, and dignified care and support, and most importantly the sort of care that they would want for their own Mum's or, another loved one.
Before selecting new team members, all our applicants undergo rigorous background and employment checks, including an enhanced disclosure and barring criminal records checks, and throughout the recruitment process, we ask ourselves two simple but very important questions which help us to make sure that all of our carer's are right for our clients, and our teams: "Do they share our values and commitment to providing the very best possible care" and "Would I want them to provide care and support for someone that I love?"
When we welcome a new care worker to the team, they will undergo a comprehensive package of in-house training, induction, and work shadowing with one of our team leaders, or experienced care workers. During their employment, all carer workers undergo regular assessment of their practical skills, and are required to maintain and update their skills by completing regular refresher training, and attending team meetings. We also encourage and support all employees to further their qualifications, and professional development by completing additional training including, diplomas in Health & Social Care.
As part of our quality assurance process, we carry out 12 weekly supervision meetings and spot checks, with all staff and we ask you for feedback about the service you have received.
All of our care workers abide by and follow, the General Social Care Council Code of Practice.

"A belated but very sincere thank you to everyone involved in caring for my aunt. The care and attention that you provided enabled me to let her spend her last few months as she wished... at home. Not only did you support my aunt, you were a great support to me which I thank you for. I will always remember you all, you were so incredible, caring and respectful, tender, loving and kind even when things were very difficult.
My love to you all x
"I can't thank these guys enough, outstanding care of my Mum. They came in every day and made her smile, and picked me up too. During horrendous times they were my ray of sunshine and Mum's too. I really do think that they are the daily hero's in the darkness of palliative care. My late Mum and I will be forever eternally grateful.
"Thank you so much, AliMo Carers for visiting my Mother in Law, Anita during the night and helping to keep her at home as long as possible. She has now moved into a local care home and has settled in very well."
"To all the care staff, we want to say a massive thank you to you all. We couldn't have done it without you all, all your kindness and help towards my mother.
We thank you all so much.
"Just a note to say a heartfelt thank you, for
