AliMo Care is a family business, established in 2010 by Ali who having experienced a poor quality of end of life care for her Mum, wanting to do something that would have a positive impact towards improving care for others, and that would allow them to make choices about how to remain living independently in their own homes.
Starting in 2010 we specialised in providing home, and end of life care service to individuals living across Bristol & South Gloucestershire. We are proud to be recognised as one of the leading home care providers in the area, with a reputation for providing a caring, responsible and reliable service.
From personal experience, we know that the decision to let someone into your home to provide you with care and support, can be a daunting and worrying experience for many people. This is why we always aim to provide you with a level of service, that we would want for our own loved ones, and from care staff who are compassionate, caring, reliable and well trained. To make sure that we are able to offer you a flexible, and responsive service, we also make sure that our office staff, are fully trained and committed to providing you with the best possible service by dealing with any concerns, requests or enquiries that you have as efficiently and quickly as possible.
Our services range from help with cleaning and other domestic tasks, shopping, and meal preparation, getting out and about and being part of the local community, to all aspects of personal care, and end of life care. We are also here to support family members who care for loved ones, as we understand the practical and emotional difficulties that they can face, when caring for a loved one at home. By listening to what is important to you, and understanding any specific care needs or wishes that you have. We are able to develop a care plan that is fully adaptable, that fits around your life and that is flexible to meet your individual wishes at all times. Our care plans, are designed to make sure that you remain in control, and in a way will allow you to continue living independently in your own home, for as long as possible.
Our clients come to us mainly by word of mouth referrals, and through our partnership with Bristol and South Gloucestershire Adult Care Services, and the NHS.
AliMo Care is registered and complies with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) who regulate, inspect and review all adult social care services in the public, private and voluntary sectors.
Whether you need daily or weekly assistance due to ageing, illness, recovery, or rehabilitation. Our team of professional care workers, provide an individualised service that you can trust, and a service that meets your needs, whether you’re looking for support with showering and getting dressed, help with medication or, help around the house and companionship.
We are proud to work with, a professional group of team leaders, senior carers, and care workers who are passionate about delivering not only the best possible standards of compassionate, and dignified care and support but also, care at a level that they would want for their own Mum's, or another loved one.
Before selecting new team members, all applicants undergo rigorous background and employment checks. Throughout the recruitment process, we ask ourselves two simple but very important questions which, help us to make sure that all of our carer's genuinely care:
Does he or she share our values and commitment to providing the very best possible care, and would I want them to provide care and support for someone that I care about?
Once we have welcomed a new member to the team they will undergo a comprehensive in house package of training, induction, and work shadowing with an experienced member of our team. During their employment with us, carers will also undergo regular assessment of their practical skills, and are required to complete regular update training. We also encourage them to further their qualifications by completing additional training, including diplomas in Health & Social Care.
As part of our quality assurance process, we carry out 12 weekly supervision meetings and spot checks, on all staff and regularly ask you for feedback about the service you have received.
All of our care workers abide by and follow, the General Social Care Council Code of Practice.

"A belated but very sincere thank you to everyone involved in caring for my aunt. The care and attention that you provided enabled me to let her spend her last few months as she wished... at home.
Not only did you support my aunt, you were a great support to me which I thank you for.
I will always remember you all, you were so incredible, caring and respectful, tender, loving and kind even when things were very difficult. My love to you all x
"I can't thank these guys enough, outstanding care of my Mum. They came in every day and made her smile, and picked me up too. During horrendous times they were my ray of sunshine and Mum's too. I really do think that they are the daily hero's in the darkness of palliative care. My late Mum and I will be forever eternally grateful.
PS The special two who came in most days, thank you know who you are x"
"Thank you so much, AliMo Carers for visiting my Mother in Law, Anita during the night and helping to keep her at home as long as possible. She has now moved into a local care home and has settled in very well."
"To all the care staff, we want to say a massive thank you to you all. We couldn't have done it without you all, all your kindness and help towards my mother.
We thank you all so much.
"Just a note to say a heartfelt thank you, for
